A pleasure to listen to both versions - just such good playing!
Not a surprise to hear the Casino and the Strat sound so different - that's one of the interesting things for me about having different guitars - each one makes you want to / makes you have to play in a different style - I guess because of things like the balance, the weight, the dimensions, the neck shape and feel, and the way the different types of pickups react differently to what you do on the strings. Which for me is why a modelling guitar will never
quite replace having several guitars, no matter how good the tone emulations are.
It's great to play a genre that allows it to be different every time - must be a danger of it getting very dull if a song is exactly the same every time.
I was trying to find "that" tone - then I realised there's lots of tones to find!
Now I'm more confused - i think I'm looking for playability as much as tone.
